The work done to my truck was of the highest quality, and I don't want to trash Twin's reputation, but the bill I got was almost double the quote. First I called to get a quote and I was told 195. A week later I scheduled my work to be done. He called me later that day and told me 295. Being a mechanic I completely understand going over budget when a job is bid, but my final bill was 463. that's almost 300 over the original quote. Again, great work. just don't expect a quote to mean anything.

My friend took her vehicle here to have a starter replaced and was told it would cost $800 to get it fixed. For a starter! $800! My friend knew that was way too high so she had it towed to another mechanic who fixed it for $100. Wow! Twin Automotive cannot be trusted!! Very much tried to take advantage of my friend!! Shame on them!! This is in response to Twins response to my review. It doesn't matter how much she spent on towing. And she did not have it repaired in a friend's driveway. She took it to a reputable mechanic shop in Fayetteville who replaced the starter for $100 who also have the warranty Twin stated. Twin DID give her an estimate of $800 to replace the starter. The reason why she never complained about the price is that she is way too nice. Me, being an older woman, have had experience with mechanic's shops trying to rip me off with exorbitant prices because I am a woman and don't know anything about cars. The fact that Twin would argue about this review just shows what kind of business they are.
