I came into town for one night and this is BY FAR the very best place to stay in town. My room was wonderful, everything top notch. The bed was so comfortable, heat/air worked wonderfully, hot shower, the room is updated and everything is just beautiful honestly! They are still updating other rooms in the comlex, so there is obvious construction taking place but it didn't make any difference in my stay at all. I will definitely be coming back when in town!!! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. I felt extremely safe and will definitely make this my go to when in town. Thank you for a GREAT night's rest and comfortable place to stay. My family and I broke down in Newport and we decided to stay at Lakeside Inn based on good reviews and it did not disappoint! Pam and Tom are the absolute sweetest. Dont judge a book by its cover. They are completely redoing the entire building and the new rooms are very nice. The hot water works on a dime and the amenities that they provide are unheard of. Air fryer/grills in the rooms with refrigerators and a black stone grill for all to use upstairs on the deck. This will definitely be a place we add to our route when we are traveling. I cant say enough nice things about this place!
