La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Little Rock - West

Arrived late in the evening and was greeted by Robert the night manager. I found him rude and abrupt while he checked us in. He just snapped instructions at me with a complete lack of manners. When I asked about bedding for the sofa bed, he told me that I had checked in very late, and so there might not be any bedding, but that he would check. Despite it being a simple request he managed to come across as rude and condescending when telling me this, and suggesting that I would be fortunate if he found bedding given the lateness of the check-in. There was no acknowledgement that there should have been bedding for the sofa bed when the room was booked for 5 people with one king bed and one sofa bed. In fact, it turned out that there was bedding, and he quickly found it, so I was bemused as to why he had spoken to me in such a manner, leaving a bad impression when there was no need. I stayed the previous night, in the La Quinta in Duncanville, and the staff could not have been more friendly and polite, so I was hugely disappointed by the welcome I received at this hotel. The hotel itself is fine, but the manner in which I was spoken to, really let the hotel down.

I went in this evening to see about getting a room. Sam at the front desk was very rude and was very inconvenienced by me asking questions. Zero customer service. I left and went with another hotel.
