        Warranty services sent out plumber to fix two leaking gaskets in a bathroom sink. He comes in and collets $85 fee from home warranty and doesnt fix anything and blames it on a pressure release valve. Tells my wife he is going to try to get the home warranty to pay for the pressure release valve. We have no others issues at the house. He calls us back with a $550 estimate for replace the gaskets on two leaky sink handles. He refuses to fix just th valves. He took out $85 fee and bailed. I had another plumber come fix the valves in less than 30 minutes and all is good. Watch out for this guy! Either grossly incompetent of takes advantage of home warranty and their customers.

        I have nothing but good to say about y the plumbers! But I would like an itemized statement on what they charged me .$500 for in addition to the $100 service fee. My warranty covered the hot water heater.

      This information is incorrect. We checked the pressure on your house due to the leaking fixtures and found that the pressure regulator had failed since you only have 20 PSI which normal PSI is 45-75. Its the warranties policy to submit the gage readings on any leaking fixtures and Choice home warranty denied it. We have no control over the warranty covering things or denying things. I gave you a quote to replace the pressure regulator and you did not want to do it at this time. So yes I did ask you if you wanted to go ahead and get the gaskets only fixed and no I was not going to charge you $550 for gaskets, it would have only been the $85 that you already paid plus the cost of the materials to which you replied via text which I have screenshots of "I fixed them once. I'll dice them again. Its not rocket science." So this is clearly a miscommunication and misunderstanding. Also we offer homeowner's the option of digging up the regulator themselves and we waive $300 so we can replace the pressure regulator for $250. So we are not just trying to take advantage of our customers. We offer lower more completive rates then most plumbing companies that is why the warranties work with us. Also I did refund you the $85 since you were not happy with the service.
