Very small sandwiches with very little meat. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was supposed to have grapes, onions and walnuts. I got a half a grape on one side and there were no nuts or onions. Spread was so thin they couldnt even cover up all the bread.

First want to say we enjoy Newk's in Rogers and Fayetteville, so have been looking forward to this new location closer to home. Hopefully corporate reads this review and takes note, as there is a full blown, 5 alarm emergency disaster going on at the new location. The level of issues is so deep that nobody can take blame but a regional manager and higher up. This is not the local employees fault, and likely not even the store managers. Appears to be more of a corporate communication and process issue. This place was running fairly smoothly from the grand opening until just recently. However, on Apr 7, 2024, the lack of staff, service, communication,timeliness etc at noon rush hour was abysmal. Obviously the place was short staffed, but the fact that the drive thru was still open for vehicles to build up and wait over 30 minutes for service is a sign of a process issue. An orange cone or two and a sign at the entrance to the drive thru, alerting customers that there is a staffing shortage and drive thru is closed, would have solved multiple levels of issues. Next, when you get to the drive thru order, and have to wait 10 minutes to get someone to take your order, they could have a process in place for a comment something like "we are extremely short staffed today. Are you okay waiting 30-45 more minutes in the drive thru for your order? We've had multiple vehicles leave the drive thru already (we witness two while in the line for our 35 minutes wait). We would just like to ensure you have a pleasant experience and understand the atypical 1 hour total wait for drive thru today." After waiting in the drive thru, we parked and took a look inside to see what the issue was. If not every table, 90% of the tables were void of customers but full of dirty plates and trash. Clearly nobody was on bus duty for the lunch rush. Again, a sign of under staffing. These things happen, but the lack of process and a plan to deal with the issue falls on corporate. My sympathy for all of the customers that had a terrible experience like us today, and my sympathy for the 2-3 staff that were stuck dealing with an avoidable issue. While these local employees are working for entry level wages, there is some corporate executive somewhere getting paid nicely while one of their locations collapses.

Tried Newks for lunch at this new Bentonville location. Very strange atmosphere. Staff did not seem very interested in service. Food was not cleaned up from tables and there were flies. The wait time for my order was very long. The pizza I ordered was not correct. As I left, I saw two employees standing near the three dirty tables with food on them, from previous customers, arguing, not knowing what to do. The Rogers location is much better, at least for now.

went through the drive through and it took 35 minutes of waiting just to make a ham and swiss sandwich with a side of mac and STILL managed to get my order wrong. this was ridiculous.
