    Spoke with Sunny when I was wandering around the mall. Very engaging salesman who provided excellent customer service about his very tasteful teas. Next time I am back I will absolutely get some open leaf goodness!

    I bought a birthday present here for someone with a very limited diet. I expressed concern regarding food restictions and told the woman helping me what I was looking for. She was very nice and said if the tea didn't agree with him I could bring it back and return it. With that being said, I understood if it didn't work out, I would be given a refund. I said if that was the case, I'd buy a selection of tea. As the tea is loose, I was not under the impression it would be resold, but instead discarded. When I returned the tea ($70 worth) and three containers, a spoon and tea pot, I was told by a woman named Rebecca who identified herself as the manager on duty, all could be refunded but the tea. I spent $133 there and the bulk of the purchase was tea and had I not been misled by a saleswoman, I would have only purchased one kind of tea. Rebecca informed me this is a common problem with Teavana and happens at other stores too. She then said it was a lack of training and she would like to help me, but as it was a corporate policy, she'd be placing her job on the line. The woman that sold me the tea was there and I said to her that she said I could return it and she said yes, but only for another tea, meaning an exchange. I let her know that's not what she told me, there are no signs posted about not being able to get a refund on their very pricey tea, and this was a deceptive sales practice. Rebecca chimed in and said I should have looked at the bottom of the sales receipt when I got home and it would have shown there are no returns. This makes no sense as I was encouraged to purchase more by being told I could return it, the receipt wasn't provided until after the purchase, and if I looked at the receipt after I got home,it would have been too late. Rebecca was condescending, rude and refused to offer any helpful remedy, such as contacting her manager given the deceptive sales practice. Ours really unfortunate as this was my first and last experience with Teavana. I enjoy tea and could have been a returning customer. The person whose present it was, was also with me and also expressed his dissatisfaction regarding how Rebecca handled our concerns. Teavana, you've lost two customers!
