This place is the worst I would have your family member come here. First off we were referred by Northwest hospital to come here with my family member. On the outside the place looks fantastic however once you go into the main lobby and elevator its so old and nasty looks like a psych ward facility. When I went into my family members room there was dried blood on the wall next to my family members bed and on the curtains. There was uran from the next door roommate that was spilled on the floor and they cleaned it up with bleach didnt dry it first witch can cause hey, chemical reaction and turn into mustard gas if not handled correctly. Then in his room on the roof the heavy duty curtain track was just dangling by one screw, which was a hazard, and if a patient was to accidentally grab the curtains to prevent him from falling or step on it, the curtain could fall down and bodily harm to one of the patients and my family member. Way of fixing it was to call a maintenance staff who had to get approval by the maintenance management to get it fixed. On top of that, none of the nurses and or staff members actually care about their patience. My family member was falling out of the wheelchair and I had to ask one of the nurse for assist. She said shell be right back 15 minutes later as he is calling for help. I will look down the hallway at the nurses desk area and theyre having a conversation when I went down to talk to the nurse I asked her for assistance and she stated shes trying to find more help. She definitely was not she was having a conversation I told her he is falling and then she got up and did her job. Also when they moved my family member from the room to repair the roof they put him in a clean bed as they say and went to wheel him down into another room. He has a broken back and neck from an accident they did not elevate his head with a pillow and he was in tons of pain when they moved him. Im so disgusted with this facility I do not recommend anyone to bring their family members here because they will decline in health Not recover and Their staff members do not care. A week later on 3/22/24 my dad passed away because of this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im currently a patient at the nursing home due to the fact that I have an infection on my spinal cord. Ive been here for five days now and let me tell you the nursing staff the CNAs and the administrative staff. Are all. Wonderful people as of this moment because of my infection I cannot wear pants. I can wear yoga pants but not Jean pants. I spoke to the HR department yesterday and this morning someone came in with sweatpants and a pair of yoga pants for me so I just want to say thank you to all the staff here and let everybody know that I think this place is great. And its also a very gorgeous. Facility I would recommend this place to family

I'm actually a resident here and I love everything about it and for all the people that have left negative comments about this place you guy's have to realize that 99% of the patient's here are mentally ill and they have to deal with that and I know that people are trusting their loved ones with this place but when they make a request like I want the statue of liberty in my room and go on a rampage because they're not able to deliver I mean you guys have to consider that these are the people that have to deal with that and if it wasn't a problem then why would you guy's put them here in the 1st place and if you guy's have issues with this place you guys can remove your loved ones from the facility I mean they're not prisoners here because its not very decent to go online and post things that are false that they're hearing from they're mentally ill loved ones that are a resident here at the facility so that's just some food for thought but I just wanna give a special shot out to all the staff here because they have done wonder's for me so keep up the good work and don't change anything.

At first I was happy to have my father here they were taking good care of him but little by little we kept seeing that they really don't pay attention to them the rooms aren't clean,if you would ask the nurse how was the patient doing if they saw any progress in there health they would never know what to say, if you wanted to speak with the doctor you had to leave a message which they never answer, the social workers weren't that much help either you could never reach them, there was also one receptionist that was really rude she would always give attitude, not all the staff there was bad there were some good people 2 of the nurses like Noel, and Manuela, the nurse assistants Irene, Alma, I forgot the rest of the names but it was so much they could do, but that wasn't enough because my father and the rest of the patients there didn't get the attention they deserve, we would end up doing the little things they were suppose to be doing, i wouldn't recommend Sandstone to anyone luckily my father is better and is now home with us..
