Occasionally the church's women's organization, which is the Relief Society, has an activity night. This past Thursday such was held. The basic theme for the evening was stay active for your health no matter your age. The two major activities were: a chair yoga class and a pound class, which incorporates drum sticks in its workout. Both classes were full of excited students and lasted 1/2 hour each. A fun and exillerating time was had by all! Other activities that evening included a Ministering Minute, a song and dance routine, a karate exhibition, a refreshment table, and a drawing, for anyone bringing a friend, for the opportunity to win a basket full of treats! As a friend brought to this activity and participating in it as well, I can say it was a well organized, thoughtful evening dedicated to several fitness levels utilizing new and exciting exercise techniques! Bravo to the Relief Society Sisters who organized this evening! Job well done!
