I have been living here for the past 3 years with my dog and everything has been fine, until the new management took over this year. Now they're threatening to call ANIMAL CONTROL because my dog is off leash in a closed area, not bothering anyone. I have seen other people take their bigger dogs off leash in the same area and from what I have seen management seems to only have an issue with me and my dog (for context I am a person of color and the other people I have seen are white). I don't use the dog park because it's small, unmaintained, and poop everywhere. Nobody has ever had a problem with it and to threaten calling animal control is ridiculous. DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU HAVE A PET.

Nine20 Tempe Apartments are the best around town. A literal resort disguised as an apartment complex. Have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff. 10/10 recommend!!

I have loved living here! I renewed for a second year last year and did not regret it one bit. The management is really helpful and the maintenace staff is very attentive. The amenities are always open and functional and are such a perk. It is so close to campus and a short walk from TJs its awesome. Definitely the place to go!

DO NOT LIVE HERE, well unless you want to be hit with a $600+ charge at the end of your move out. They claim to clean their apartments before move in yet I had to deep clean mine the day I moved in due to it being dirty everywhere even the common areas. Regardless I still signed a second year lease because the close distance to campus was convenient. I inquired multiple times about cleaning my carpet once I extended my lease for a second year yet the front desk staff is completely clueless about their own buildings rules. I was told I was not allowed to bring in my own carpet cleaning company since it wasnt insured by the building and that Nine20 does not offer carpet cleaning on their end even if I paid for it. Move out came and I was charged $400+ for a new carpet when the carpet I got during initial move in was by no means in perfect condition. On top of this charge they tried to add on a bunch of other random charges for absolutely no reason. My unit had issues with the dishwasher smelling for months on end even though it was not being used and all maintenance had to say was we fixed it there is nothing wrong yet it kept randomly filling up with water and smelling horrible. This apartment is not worth the price you pay for at all especially with the charges they hit everyone with at the end. Hallways and doors had throw up left for days if not weeks on end making everything real constantly. Dont be fooled by the nice clean lobby area its all they keep clean. I recommend living ANYWHERE else but this complex.
