Scottsdale Gateway Phase II

The apartment, amenities and the fun gatherings they do all the time is fantastic!!! Thus the 2 stars.... This was my daughters 1st apartment on her own. She was very proud of her new home! For the most part throughout the year she didn't have many issues, other than them not getting on top of maintenance requests. But, the way they treat tenants when they decide to not re-sign is pretty foul!!! I'm sure half of the people that are still there were forced to re-sign because of the costs to you as a tenant, if you don't!! We had NO intention of resigning our lease, due to a family situation and she was FORCED to stay another 3 months due to their policy of a 90 day notice. I made the assumption that 30 days was plenty...I was wrong! I've rented alot of places in Michigan and we've never had to give a 90 day notice.... my mistake. Not only did they force us to stay 3 months longer, they upped the monthly charge on us, by almost $1000!!! Then, when we were finally able to move out, we cleaned the apartment top to bottom spotless and got a bill for $100 for a cleaning fee!!! I KNOW for a fact it was absolutely spotless!!! I was informed they needed a professional cleaning bill or they were charging me!! Obviously, I didn't have a bill, I cleaned it myself!! My advice is if you're going to move in here... read ALL of the fine print! Know you HAVE to give a 90-day notice if you don't plan on resigning. DON'T bother cleaning because they're going to charge you at least $100 for "THEIR" cleaning bill. Lastly, remember if you need something fixed they are horrible at returning phone calls or emails in regards to things being fixed!! We will NEVER recommend Scottsdale Gateway to anyone!!! So glad to finally be done with their crooked ways!!!! Unnecessary valuable lessons learned, that's for sure! Good riddance!!! Signed, A pissed off EX-tenant,

I love it here. The Office staff and maintenance are very efficient. The property is Beautifully kept. It is very peaceful. Swimming is my favorite. The pools are kept pristine. I try to get at least 10 minutes a day. The Fitness Center has an awesome variety of top notch equipment. I am only 15 minutes from work. The Zoo used to be my favorite past time-only 10 minutes away. The airport is 15-20 minutes close by. I?m very happy.

Its dirty here the laundry rooms are the most filthy Ive ever seen in my life. The gym gets cleaned once every other month. The gym is dusty and can go months without toilet paper or sanitizer wipes for the machines. Great location but the maintenance of this property is gross. Dog poop everywhere mud all over when it rains. This place is dirty
