Hello Lynette – my team and I reviewed your account and wanted to reiterate what was sent in yesterday’s email (3/26), letting you know that your return had already been scheduled for next week’s tax block of returns (please refer to your confirmation email regarding the tax block). Please note that your email inquiring about the status of your return was sent two days ago (3/25), with an auto response letting you know that all emails would be responded to within 72 business hours.We were saddened, however, to see that you had taken to writing a review, especially after examining the notes and seeing the exchanges between you and our team. We found that there had been no recent phone calls inquiring about the status of your return and no emails, (until yesterdays email) before leaving the review – especially when our phones are answered promptly and if after hours, we have a voicemail system in place.Regarding communication, we can see that 11 emails were exchanged between 2/21 and 2/29, in which the last email was yours in response to our team letting you know that we received your missing information and that your return was in line for tax prep and would be completed in the order it was received. Since we are not a commercial firm that promises rapid returns, we are unable to provide timelines for returns outside of saying that it is in line to be prepared.With that said, we do understand that the tax season in general can be stressful for many of our clients. We have updated our confirmation email for future clients that states between the point of submitting a return to our queue and filing said return, no communication is necessary.
