This place is definitely worth a visit. The check-in was the most friendly and most informative of almost all hotels I have stayed at. We arrived about 7pm and they even let us know that the restaurants close at 8pm on that particular Saturday so we needed to do that sooner than later. They told us where to best park in relation to our room and mapped where breakfast was and the other facilities. The grounds are beautiful. My status was recognized, which sounds lame but as someone who used to travel 40-45 weeks each year pre-pandemic it got annoying checking into hotel after hotel of receiving nothing when they are supposed to (and I actually stopped frequenting the M chain because they hardly ever did). Best Western definitely recognizes status and hands me waters, even in different countries so that's always a pro. The room was a bit dated but it was fine. We had the red rock balcony view and it was so cool to get up and seeing the sunrise change the colors of the rocks right from our room! We had a quiet and comfortable sleep also. The pool looked amazing but it was too cold for us to venture to try it in early March. Breakfast was hot and busy, the host was running around checking guests in and cleaning tables for the next guests. The coffee could have been better but it wasn't the worst and everything I had in general was good at the buffet. Sausages were plump! The salsas were delicious! The location of this hotel is pretty awesome, easy walking to several shops and restaurants and tours, which I heard later during a Sedona tour that being able to walk is a great thing because the main road can get crazy with tourist traffic during "in season". There are many round-a-bouts and the tour guide said that most visitors don't know how they work. So my advice would be to just brush up on that prior to visiting, not a hard concept; in the circle you have the right of way, maybe use your turn signals to signal if you are exiting the circle (or signal the opposite if you are staying in the circle) to let the other entering traffic know your intentions... but basically the overall objective for everyone is to not hit a car and to not get hit by a car. Sedona also decided to add pedestrians to the mix so that can get dicey. But back to the hotel, I recommend it, great place to stay. Friendly and courteous staff. Both check-in and check-out were easy and quick. The parking lot is wavy/wonky but they map out your best area to park for where your room or villa is located. Breakfast was good. View from balcony was fantastic. Hands down I will be staying here again next time we come. Tha ks for a wonderful stay, BW! Walkability: Very walkable around the area. There are a lot of elevation changes (the hotel parking lot slopes down from the main street) but there are stairs. Noteworthy details: Possibly due to some sort of night sky viewing policies in Sedona, the town kind of shut down around 8pm at almost all restaurants and bars on a Saturday night. Seriously need to think ahead about food if you are a late eater. Not sure if this is a year-round thing or just when we were there in March. Things might be open later in the summer as the sunset is later. We walked to a nearby pizza shop, ordered pizza at 7ish and walked it back to our room to eat.

What a wonderful company. My husband and I surprised my parents with a trip here (its their favorite place on earth). Nicholas helped me get all of the details in order and truly did some wonderful things for us! I am so grateful for this place and so excited for my parents to go. Thank you Nicholas!!!!!

I dont understand the great reviews on this place. For one night, it was about $290 with the 10$ fee for parking. This is not a hotel worth that price. The pool had a thin film at the top, our bathroom toilet had the previous guests business in it, the room seemed generally run down, and the building didnt seem secure. The location is fantastic and is walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, and the views are great. But in my opinion, the views are great everywhere in Sedona, and youd need a car to visit Sedona regardless to access hiking. Would not stay here again nor recommend it. It is overpriced for what it is.
