Phoenix Children's Scottsdale Urgent Care

The service was some what quick. But what got me is sending me to a pharmacy 30 min away just to not send my baby (who was just diagnosed with pink eye) subscription to the pharmacy. I wanted to avoid writing this review but Ive called 3 times with no answer. The pharmacy cant help me until they send it in correctly.

Took my almost 4yo in for a fever and was informed the covid/flu/strep swab will take 10-15min. Ended up waiting in the room for almost an hour so we had to poke our heads out for some attention. The nurse who came back had to triple check my daughters name so pretty sure they had forgotten about us. To be fair they were pretty busy that day but still pretty absurd they would forget about us and a trip to the urgent care ended up taking 3 hours.

Very bad experience, came in with my six year who had a cut on her eyebrow. She was crying and wanting to go home the minute we got there, we got in and the nurse practitioner said they need to stitch it. Took 30 mins to get the insurance approval and 30 minutes for the numbing cream to work and then as she put in the first stitch my daughter SCREAMED. I asked her to stop she said no she is not in pain she is scare (my daughter is the toughest kid shes got stitches before and didnt even cry). After all this time she said we can glue it. Are you kidding me? After being there for over 2 hours and my daughter crying wanting to go home and wanting her sisters ( she was heartbreaking) they said we couldve just glued it and be done in less than 10 minutes? Why the hell did you say we need stitches? More money? For an adult urgent care I get it (not really) but childrens urgent care seeking more money? Putting kids through all this to charge more? I was beyond furious. Wish I could give zero stars
