image I attended Rainbow Montessori from age 2 through 2nd grade. I am so grateful for my time and experience at Rainbow. I actually enjoyed school and loved learning everyday at Rainbow. The personalized learning in a small classroom environment is truly unparalleled. Rainbow only went to 2nd grade when I attended many many years ago, and I always wished I could have attended Rainbow for all of my schooling. It’s so much more than a school that just teaches you bases on testing. They focus on development as a person and making sure kids are set up for their future from their foundation at a young age and teach you not only educational tasks but also incredibly important life skills. I went on to attend a great college prep high school where I graduated with honors and a 4.3 GPA, attended ASU on a full ride scholarship with honors, and now work a very fulfilling career where I travel the world doing what I love for a business consultant company, while also running my own small graphic design business. I give so much credit to Rainbow for nurturing both my intellectual and creative sides. I am even still semi-bilingual (semi due to my lack of recent practice) thanks to Rainbow implementing a second language in preschool. Thank you, Rainbow, for setting your students up for success and always treating the families like your own!

image My kids aged 2 and 4 went to Rainbow for about a year. I was so terribly disappointed with this school in so many ways, but I'll try to keep this short. The toddler room teacher is so jaded and detached, I did not see her show any affection toward any of the kids the whole year we were there. My son cried every time I dropped him off in her class. That was not a nurturing environment for young kids at all. The preK teacher is pretty good at faking she cares about her students, but I happened to catch her contradicting herself in her assessments of my daughter. My conclusion after my very unpleasant experience dealing with her is that she routinely just BS's parents and cant remember what she said to who. When she finally had to explain herself, she was incredibly rude, insulting even. She also made a couple of awkward comments to my husband and I, made her sound like she'd never seen a mixed race family before.
Lastly, make sure you look at their school calendar and get ready to take many, many days off from work because their breaks are ridiculous; way longer and more frequent than any school in the area.
Ugh, to think I encouraged friends to put their kid there! (They've also left by now).
