The ladies at the front reception desk and radiology were extremely nice. I honestly wasnt happy with how everything went during my appointment. The only thing that happened was the dr explaining what was seen in my rads and how there wasnt much cartilage in one knee compared to the other but thats all X-rays would tell him. If that was the case, then why not order for a MRI to see whats wrong internally because someones knee doesnt just swell up just to swell up and become painful The doctor had me straighten out my bad leg as I was sitting in the chair. He never actually examined my knee nor did he watch my gait when in the MR notes he stated that it was normal. But how would he know if he never saw me get up once from the chair. So why lie about it in the record when I know Doctors have an oath to hold up in the medical field. He told me surgery wasnt going to help, he said he couldnt guarantee that either cortisone or the gel version will help my knee because the cortisone didnt work before so I opted out of it. He also stated that because I am young, that a knee replacement wasnt an option. So he just gave me the 3 options. But also how is PT not set up through yall and thats have to call on a place to go?? When I had surgery, all of it was squared away and I never had to worry about calling on a facility or look for one. It was easily scheduled. Definitely getting a second opinion.
