        I have been dealing with medical issues for almost 20 years now and SMIL is hands down THE BEST PLACE I have been to for any sort of imaging. From start to finish, every employee was extremely friendly and kind and very understanding. I HIGHLY recommend SMIL for any imaging you may need done!

        Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with SMIL Southwest Medical Imaging (Osborne location). In short, I previously had my throat scoped from my ENT & subsequently had a swallow test with SMIL. Upon completion of this swallow test, Dr. Frey suggested I may have SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA. To hear that you may have cancer is an extremely scary scenario. However, after speaking with my ENT, I was informed it was medically impossible to tell if I had SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA based on the type of imaging done through SMIL. However, since an MD put in his notes (SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA), I needed to have further test to disprove an MD's findings. I ended up seeking a new doctor through Mayo Clinic who let me know it was wildly inappropriate to reference cancer in that type of initial testing, but once again, also medically impossible. Mayo clinic completed a CT scan & MRI, which thankfully provided me with a clean bill of health. However, $3K later to disprove some type of language that should have never been written in my initial report was the frustrating and emotionally draining scenario I found myself in. I reached out to SMIL management to request reimbursement of my out-of-pocket expense and I received zero empathy to my experience with SMIL.

        Ive been to this center on 3 occasions, and each time they are quick, friendly, efficient, punctual and helpful. The facility is clean and easy to find. The people at the front desk are always pleasant and happy to assist in any way. Its nice to see these days.
