Scottsdale Marriott Old Town

Worst hotel experience for corporate events. Management was exceptionally rude. This property does not allow outside food to be brought in anywhere but guest rooms so if you have a large group planning to eat and no onsite restaurant is open, you are forced to walk off property (they recommended we sit and eat pizza on the sidewalk behind the property). Additionally, this hotel advertises a hot tub and heated pool (no hot tub and pool is not heated). Rooms are dated - not your typical Marriott experience. The bartender was a delight - the rest of the staff pretty miserable. Tesla chargers available in the parking garage that were completely shredded and unsafe.

Location cant be beat, service is fantastic, every one we interacted with was helpful and attentive. The hotel itself could use some updating but everything was clean and spacious. It got a loud in the evenings from party goers outside (we were on the fifth floor) which was something I didnt anticipate, but we always travel with earplugs. Would definitely stay here again when in Scottsdale.

I visit this property frequently for meetings. I'm continually impressed by the staff and service. Whether it's the front desk or restaurant staff, they are always friendly and willing to go out of their way to make sure guests enjoy their stay.
