I recently purchased the Hubitat Elevation C7 home automation device and I am amazed with this purchase. As a previous owner of Wink hubs and devices, I can say that this brings home automation to an all new level for me. This device is incredibly user-friendly and easy to set up. I was able to connect all of my smart devices to it in just a few minutes and now I have complete control over my home from my phone or tablet.
One of the things I love most about this device is its reliability. I've never had any issues with it and it has never gone offline. I also appreciate that it is a local device, which means that it doesn't rely on the internet to work. This is a huge plus for me as the cloud based vendor and was going down multiple times each year and the last time was about 6 weeks or more (that's when I decided to move to another platform). I didn't want to live in under the control of another company that couldn't manage their own internal systems and keep them available for customers they were charging a monthly fee to. As an IT guy, I have always had to be able to secure the environment I work in and be able to roll back changes at a moments notice. That's something my previous vendor could not do. Now I'm in control of my own destiny...
The Hubitat Elevation C7 also offers a wide range of customization options. I was able to create custom scenes and automations that work perfectly for my needs. For example, I have a scene set up where all of my lights turn off and the thermostat lowers when I leave the house. This is a great feature that saves me both time and energy (time + energy = $money$).
Overall, I highly recommend the Hubitat Elevation C7 home automation device. It's a great investment for anyone looking to upgrade their home's smart capabilities. It's reliable, easy to use, and offers a wide range of customization options. I couldn't be more satisfied with this system and purchased an additional hub for my Konnected Security and Safety notification system.
