Worked with Envy Homes to assist with fixing hot and cool spots throughout my home as well as lower my outrageous SRP bill. Well, the first part was a success for the most part. My home feels much more comfortable and it feels as if all rooms are the same temperature. However, the saving money on my electric bill never happened. Envy completed their audit and said that they could get me close to 25% saving in my electric....well 6 months in and a month into the AZ summer, my bill has not changed. It's the same as 2020 and my thermostat and electricity use is the same as 2020. Was it worth $8,000k +, not at all! I still precool my home from 2-3 and the AC stays off from 3-6. My house still get to 80+ degrees in that time period and once the AC kicks on it stays in for the same amount of time. My AC seems to be running all day once 11am hits, just like before. Yes the rooms feel more balanced, but nothing else I was told has come to fruition. I will say that Envy's crew was fantastic while they were here. No complaints about the people. However, don't say customers will save $$$ when in the end they don't.

Envy Homes optimized our home for energy efficiency with a focus on our very outdated, falling apart ductwork. They were fantastic at every step of the way. From the initial energy consultation, to discussing pricing, completing the work, and re-evaluating energy efficiency after the work was done, Envy was reliable, knowledgable, and highly skilled. We live in a large-ish custom home built in 1979. Envy was great at figuring out unique air-duct and insulation solutions to our home's MANY oddities. It is stunning to me how much less we run our A/C in the Summer, and our heat in the winter. I am on the Simply3 Energy Plan with my utility company, so I try to not run my air from 2-5 pm. Before we had all this work done, I would pre-cool my home prior to 2pm, then set it at a much higher temp. Within 30 minutes, my house temp would hit the upper threshold and intermittently go on and off for the remaining time. NOW--I do the same pre-cool (which is SO much faster now), and my A/C stays off almost the whole 3 hours! It usually makes it until about 4:45! Then it kicks on for a few minutes, and goes back off, maintaining the temperature! Our A/C runs less, we are more comfortable, and our bills are lower. Envy completed this huge amount of work while we were on vacation for a week, and when we got home, they left the place so clean I didn't know anyone had been there; our job included drywall, cutting new vents, adding new ductwork, sealing all ducts, removing old and decaying duct work...it was a messy job and I couldn't even tell. They helped us take advantage of all rebates our utility company offered, making the service much more affordable. ENVY Homes was referred to us by APS for an energy audit to help keep our energy costs down in our home that we have owned for three years. After the initial audit, it was determined there were serious deficiencies in the way the duct work was run and the insulation levels were not optimal. It was also identified that the A/C and furnace units were way out of date. We contracted with ENVY for all the work and the work was completed in a little over a week. Since the work was completed, we do not experience the drastic temperature swings in the house throughout the home that we did before, and there are no longer sever differences in temperature from room to room. When our A/C and furnace units do run, they do not run for nearly as long as the previous units. We are very happy with the work performed and the professionalism of ENVY Homes.
