The Edge Remodeling

Hired the edge remodeling to build an outdoor kitchen and fountain in our backward. The fountain and to be totally taken apart and rebuilt after 2 years due to major leaks and poor construction. The outdoor kitchen has needed continue maintenance and several repairs. Really sorry that we choice the Edge Remodeling for our project. Would not recommend them to anyone. Service: Home renovations

Had a carport to garage conversion done. It looks good. But that is cosmetic. When it rains, it leaks under the floorboards. Tried calling several times and no response. Finally email giving a notice that we'll contact the ROC if not responded to caught his attention. Shocking, this was the first he heard of said contact. So the problem is explained, and he says it's normal for it to leak thats why pretreated lumber is used. Well the problem with that much water is it's wicks up into the non treated lumber and not to mention the steel nails that are used will eventually rust out. We asked why don't you use flashing. Can't use flashing on the ground is how I understood his response. Yes, you can. I do. Have friends in the construction industry. Another response is that turn down how much water is put on the landscaping. Like I often water cement. Long story short, they do not stand behind their product. This is not been resolved addressed or even a courtesy site visit. The construction job should have been permitted as required which at the time the person having the work done did not know this and I even asked and he said no. This doesn't need to permit. Be aware of this company.

We have been in the process of trying to get a very extensive (expensive) pool/ yard remodel done with Edge Remodeling. The experience has been less than satisfactory. We have to constantly reach out for communication, we never know if or when they are going to show up and work. They have left our yard in an embarrassing, unsafe mess most all of the time they have been working here for nearly a year.they insist on collecting 100% of the money or they won't complete the project  (our bad for not reading contract closely) so here we sit, our yard a complete mess, virtually unusable after nearly a year and they have all our money! We have repeatedly ask for better communication , even tried having sit down meetings, positive feedback,  nothing seems to work to get these guys focused and our project completed efficiently and timely. I think part of the problem is they may not have the skill set to do the work we hired them for. They have had to tear out several things and start over when the tile they installed sank after it rained for instance. Buyer beware!
