They took 12 days instead of the 5 I was quoted (while I couldnt live in my house) They broke things on my property, left my place a mess with paint and drywall damage. The management is a joke. This person lied gave me the runaround and was completely unresponsive and inconsiderate. Worst home renovation experience ever! Please dont give this company your business!!!! They treated my 93 year old aunt very poorly and didn't even finish the job. They sent workers that didn't speak English. They wouldn't show up when promised and one of their workers became aggressive with my husband. They ruined her bathroom door and never returned to hang it. It took them 6 weeks to complete a small leak in a very small bathroom that came from the unit above. The last person to finish the job made a complete mess on purpose because she told him he scratched up her bathroom door and said he would fix it then denied it. They would never keep her in the loop and blamed it all on her and her old age. They never took accountability for anything. I tried to intervine to help her and text messages would go unanswered for days with them. I tried to be understanding but they could not stick to a plan. My aunt would wake up early every day for 6 weeks in case they would show up. She couldn't wait to get rid of them. I would never hire rainbow! We just moved back into our home after a leak and home restoration project. It was five long months and a little rocky at first with delays but once Dave Try took over the project, things went so much better! I was particularly impressed with his attention to detail and helpful suggestions during the rebuild phase. There were times I was so stressed out and made a couple of poor decisions relating to design and color choice. He was patient as I changed my mind several times. The company was careful to contact me when workers were going into the home and ensure they had my approval each step of the process. Jessica in the office was always quick to respond and great to work with! As the project manager, Dave went above and beyond on so many of the details. BEWARE! That would be the best word that I can think of to describe this outfit. Key reasons why you should NOT give Rainbow your business: No communication! Extremly Unprofessional! Walked out no notice without finishing their work and they LIE! In a casual conversation I would usually use a much more colorful string of words to describe something that is as aweful as this company but I do not want to give them an excuse to take down my review! We had a roof leak on one wall of our living room. They contracted to fix the roof, remove the drywall, repaint the entire room and remove all of my plantation shutters in the room to facitate the paint. They promised the world in the beginning but were absolutly aweful! Contract is signed. Over the next three weeks three seperate employes show up unannounced and they all want to take measurements but are completly oblivious as to what needs to be done even thought the estimator took detailed pictures and measurments of the entire room before the contract was signed! I inform the third employee that there will be no more unannounced visits and I need to have all the work completed on weekends. Then two weeks later on a Friday "Dave" calls and "tells" us that they will be at our home at 8am! So we drop what we are doing and rush home and spend three hours clearing out the room and removing everything from the walls. They spend one hour setting up plastic and removing drywall and shutters the leave. A week later on a Friday I receive a call from my wife that there is a drywall crew standing outside of our home and I am forced to drive 45 minutes home just to find that the crew has left even though my wife told them I was enroute. I call the company and "Amber" informs me that they will need to reschedule and tells me that "Dave" sent a text to my wife "telling" her that they would be showing up but that is a complete LIE! I tell "Amber" that Dave needs to call me and give me somekind of plan on why drywallers are showing up when there is still a roof leak. Maybe they would have fixed the roof but that goes back to No Communication. "Dave" never call but sends a text "telling" me that the drywallers will return on Monday (not a weekend). On Sunday I text "Dave" asking him to call me so I can make sure that the roof will be addressed. No reply! On Monday I send a second text to "Dave" asking him to call me before the crew shows up and I receive "Daves" final text - "We will not be returning"! My wife calls Rainbow / Grayhawk Fire and Water and "Amber" tells her that they have cancelled the contract and hangs up! They billed $1800 to the insurance company for two whole hours of work and I am left with plastic hanging from my ceiling and floor and all of my shutters stacked against the wall. Im sure that they all had a great Thanksgiving but thanks to this miserable outfit I was forced to make other arrangements! I think that the one star is fitting as it matches the one on the BBB!
