    Trying to get an order placed is nearly impossible. Then the order is incorrect or not sent. I have to use this company because that’s the durable medical supplies. I wear colostomy products., on a tight fixed income. I have no choice to change. Because it is government 20% copay is hard enough. I called 3 weeks ago. They made me use the call back, I waited a week.No call back.. Placed my order, never came. Called again. On hold forever. Was told the order wasn’t placed. Placed it. Order was missing main product needed. Call 3rd time explained my situation. Placed missing items order. I just received order. Order incorrect again. I gave up and had no choice but to order off of Amazon. I will NEVER recommend them. Ii have to order wafers that

    Today was the first time we called Preferred Homecare Tucson for replacement oxygen bottles. The lines were busy (on hold) for over 30 minutes. When we received a representative she was unprofessional, rude, coughing and clearing her throat the whole time, did not explain the reasons for delays in delivery, only thing said was we are a monday through Friday company and today is Friday no delivery until Tuesday. We told her we would go to the office and pick it up and asked for her name. She hung up on us. Seriously, this is how you treat your patients. no wonder you have a poor rating.

    My 8-year-old son is recovering from a major hip surgery. His orthopedic surgeon prescribed a pediatric walker to help him get walking again. She faxed the order on 12/29. I called Preferred to schedule a delivery time and was on hold 20 minutes. Someone answered then hung up before saying anything, so I called back and was on hold 30 minutes. A representative said the order was received and they would call me the next day to schedule delivery once it was processed. I didn't receive a phone call, so I called them the following afternoon and held for 40 minutes. The answering service said they were taking calls due to high call volume and she would send a message to Christopher who oversees pediatric walkers. Then came a three day holiday weekend. I called back on Tuesday after the holiday. Held for another 35 minutes. The answering service again said due to high call volume, reps weren't taking calls, but she could send a message. I called the following day. Held for 30 minutes and the representative Veronica told me they never received an order for the walker. I asked why someone told me they had the order on 12/29 (5 days earlier) if that was the case. She never apologized, said she didn't know, and asked me to call my doctor and have her fax the order directly to her. My doctor faxed the order for the pediatric walker to Veronica directly. No phone call back. I called the next day. Held for 35 minutes and was told the walker would be delivered the following day 1/4/24 (8 days after the order was submitted). She couldn't give a time window just said sometime on 1/4/24. A delivery person never showed up on 1/4/24. Held another 30 minutes and called back just before close to see the estimated delivery window and was told it would arrive by 8pm. Not the case. The morning of 1/5/24, I received a text message from the driver saying he was coming with the walker. He dropped off the walker and quickly left. We learned that he dropped off an ADULT walker for an 8 year old, 4'2" boy. I am livid! I called Preferred back. 30 minutes later, a representative answers and says she doesn't know why they sent an adult walker that is designed for a 5'5" individual. She says they can swap walkers on Monday 1/8/24. I explained I had already been waiting 9 days for this walker to help my son recover from a major hip surgery and asked her for supervisor approval to swap the devices today. She placed me on hold and was able to get approval. We'll see if anyone comes back today. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with! My doctor let me know Preferred Home Care is basically the only medical supply company that works with most insurance companies, so we can't just go somewhere else unless we want to buy medical equipment that we only need for a temporary time.
