Best Western Plus Executive Residency Phoenix North Happy Valley

Stayed here for 3 nights Easter weekend. When we arrived Friday we met Joe, he's the best!!! Friendly, courteous and had very helpful suggestions for dining and things to do. The room was great and so was the hotel. Breakfast was good each morning. Only suggestion, more options for coffee creamer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Price is a bit high for a 2-3 star hotel. Wasnt blown away with accommodations. Room was a little small. Has a goofy sliding barn door you cannot lock. A pocket door would be more ideal. Service wasnt bad wasnt great. Awards members should be offered early check-in, they up charge and wasnt sure if they could offer. Hotel was clean, smelled of fabulouloso, quite strong actually. 4 staying, you know typically you have to pay more per guest, whelp that complimentary bottled water for rewards members, yeah apparently only 2 bottles even though there was 4 of us standing at the check in. Other BW stays when there was 4 we got 4 waters. Its those little things that add up. Then my bonus check in points never came, this is also a first. Again not bad, but the variation across the brand and franchises. This is a newer location, but seems the staff could use come training.

This was a great choice! My room was spotless and smelled so clean, too. The location is perfect - a walk to everything you need. I was welcomed by the best staff! I LOVE Joe. He took such good care of me and everyone there, even during a busy and bustling lobby. He made sure to check with me when I got to my room to make sure everything was as expected. The front desk staff were all genuinely friendly and informative. I look forward to returning soon!
