Comfort Inn West Phoenix at 27th Ave and I-10

We were welcomed immediately by the owner. Our room, dining area, and pool were all freshly cleaned and sanitized. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this location and will most definitely stay here again.

This was a great stay! The front desk manager was beyond great when I checked in and even offered me snacks and water. The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. This is a great location as I was driving from California to Texas, a great place to stop with plenty of things in the vicinity. Will definitely stay again! Rooms: Great size and comfortable bed! I'm so impressed with this hotel even though the location isn't the best, it was close to where I needed to be. DJ at the desk is nothing less than amazing and full of personality! I recommend and will stay here again.

ATTENTION CORPORATE CHOICE HOTEL MANAGEMENT! You need to fire your hotel manager, renovate, or, better to just close this hotel down ASAP. We made our reservation 1 month in advance. I received confirmation and a few recent follow up emails. When we got there, we rang the bell and the manager did not come out for several minutes. While waiting, I got out my phone to bring up my reservation info and I was shocked to see that our reservation was canceled. The time this occurred was while we were in flight on our way to Phoenix in airplane mode with no WiFi to make a cancellation or receive any notifications. When the manager finally came out he said we were too early and we would have to sign in on the tablet setting on the desk. We tried to get information as to how our reservation was canceled but he interrupted and told us listen to me! We were essentially momentarily homeless in a strange city! We sat in the lobby on dirty furniture desperately trying to locate another place to stay as this location showed to be booked. We found a nicer, cleaner, and friendlier Choice hotel in a more convenient location and became very thankful that this all happened after reading several negative reviews about how nasty some of the rooms were and the manager being rude, rude, rude! I especially enjoyed the comment about the roaches being friendlier than the manager! When making our last minute reservations at our new motel, the man on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful show empathy regarding our dilemma. Seriously, this needs to be looked into by corporate as this location is not at all a good representation of the accommodations and services of which your company is known!
