Phoenix Children's Hospital - Volunteer Services

No urgent care walk in available in the entire Phoenix metro area until 5pm? No providers willing to see an out of town child same day. Only referred to the ER for a sick 2 year old? Zero stars. Plus they'll only allow 1 parent in. That's really comforting for a crying 2 year old. Their only saving grace was when security asked how old our daughter was and we said two when he said she had to wear a mask we told him she won't keep it on and he used common since saying he had to give us one but if she won't keep it on so be it.

All of the staff I encountered were amazing, with the exception of the female security guard in the parking garage who was extremely rude. They were amazing with my baby. Beautiful hospital.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN A REVIEW MY FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE. HERE I AM NOW ON MY 2ND ONE ONLY DIFFERENCE THIS TIME IS MY SON WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE FROM ANOTHER HOSPITAL SO I HAD TO GO HERE. LONGEST WAIT TIME TILL SOMEONE CAME IN MY 5 YEAR OLD SONS ROOM OVER 2 HOURS, DISCHARGED WITH NO TRAT RESULTS ADVISING ME TO GO TO PATIENT PORTAL NEXT DAY TO REVIEW. RIDICULOUS NURSE NOT CHILD FRIENDLY OR JUST UNHAPPY PERIOD.

Recently took my child here for their first MRI and was not allowed to accompany them. On top of that they tried taking my child before I could even hug them. I also did not appreciate the lack of appropriateness when it came to transferring my child to the other room. A male doctor picked them up and proceeded to carry them away instead of transferring them by bed. Completely inappropriate...
