Did our installation for our new countertops. Overall definitely was some quality control issues. During installation there was a few deep scratches in our countertops. One area though was luckily in an area I was going to cover with a coffee station. Another area however unfortunately can't be covered because it's right next to the stove and super obvious. There's also texture of tiny scratches here and there, luckily not super visible but you can feel them, especially noticeable since the countertops are glossy so when you run your hands down it you can feel where some knicks were. One area was chipped bad enough that my husband had to cover it up himself. Near the front sink too, so it's the first thing you look at. Luckily he's a craftsman with experience sculpting professionally and experienced to be able to cover it. If he didn't have that experience though, I think it'd be a different story of complaints from me. Also we asked for a shiny finish, which was done for the entire countertop but not for the backsplash. It was left looking satin finish or in some areas like maybe they forgot to polish it? Not sure. The caulking used also I think was expired. It's colored caulk but days later it now turns white. It wasn't all bad though, they measured everything out perfectly and I'm surprised they got the sink cut out perfectly. Very middle of the road experience though. I probably wouldn't recommend to a friend. If all these issues happened in my mom's house she would flip, I'm not as flipped out, just disappointed but will make the best of it.
