Today was the second time Ive come in to this store about 20 minutes before closing to simply make a payment. Today is the second time I was told, My system is down. I cant take a payment. Both times there was at least one gentleman who was waiting in the store talking to the clerk. He did not appear to be a customer. This seems very suspicious to me. I certainly hope that it is not acceptable for clerks to turn away payment. I also hope it is not acceptable for clerks to do their store closing procedures early and then tell customers the system is down just so they can get out at 8:00 sharp. Not good business and Im very disappointed. Perhaps I should go where they want my money.
