I lived at Desert Lake Apartments for five years. I lived in three different units. I really enjoyed my five years living at Desert Lake Apartment. Gated. Security on duty all night. Quite at night. Chill vibe. Clean. Pool empty all summer.

Never has parking an apparently it's ok to park in handicap spaces appartment doesnt care so if your visiting or living here your handicaps are not important same people doing daily.

I thought I was going to have a good experience, but the reality is this apartment community makes you jump through too many hoops to get approved. I was working with Virgina, and before I sent over my bank statements, I asked will these work? (TWICE) My questions were disregarded and my application was denied right after I put in my 30 day notice for my current place. Luckily I was able to find a newer and better apartment for $100 cheaper but she showed absolutely no remorse for my situation. They will rob you for application fees. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Facilities look beautiful, Danielle in the office was great, but they first tried to get me to approve the state of the apartment sight-unseen, and then required me to sign a ridiculous name and likeness release (irrevocable, in perpetuity) as part of the lease. There's no reason they need that, they claimed it was for an obsolete advertising campaign and they weren't using it anymore, but there's no reason to sign a legal document about it if that's the case. Don't know if they're selling that information but there's no good reason to collect it or for them to to belittle me for caring about signing away legal rights. Pity, because I liked everything else here, but that wild invasion of privacy was too much; I've spoken to another dozen complexes since then and every one was in disbelief that someone would have that kind of clause

Yeah would not recommend this place to anyone. Not only does the management fall short on everything they say, they have no regard for people or their situations. If you stay here make sure you get everything documented because one of the ladies, Virginia especially likes to act like nothing that was said happened even when you talk back and forth with them for weeks prior.... really wish this place could have been better but yet again an actually decent place ruined by its management staff. Good riddance and hope to never have to stay with yall again Virginia and team.
