I found this assisted living center with the help of a hospice nurse, who highly recommended this place. She introduced me to Lynda, the wonderful owner, who made me feel comfortable and welcome within a few minutes of meeting her. I was able to move my mom here the same day we needed services. My mom was living in my home, and took a turn for the worse very quickly. We needed somewhere she could live and receive hospice care. Lynda had a beautiful private room that was painted yellow and was very cheerful. I can't tell you what a relief it was to turn my mom's care over to Lynda and her awesome daughter Maddie. My mom ended up loving it here. She loved the food, and the caring staff who was there for her 24 hours a day. Lynda took care of mom until the end of her life, and treated her like she was her own family.  If you are looking for a loving, home-like environment, look no further. Joy was wonderful and loving. Therence was equally kind and very helpful with planning and paperwork. The food was home cooked; the room was private; the price was reasonable. Marilyn Krouse of Senior Services Network helped us find this great place for Mark! Don't ever call "A Place for Mom"; they will e-mail you a list of 100 and offer no guidance at all.
