Appt scheduled for 8am today. 10am came and still hadnt been seen by Dr. Martens. Id been placed in an exam room but still hadnt been seen. I waited 3 weeks for this appt. It was a waste of gas and time. I will got to ER for the pain and discomfort in my thumb.

Dr Martens and her office staff have been awesome! She takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns without making you feel rushed. The office staff are always cheerful and her Medical Assistant Marlene went above and beyond. She was so helpful with filling out and faxing the medical leave paperwork I needed within a reasonable time frame.

I hate to give Dr. Martens a 1 star because shes amazing. Shes sweet, informative, professional and thorough in explanations. As a matter of fact, everyone I encountered at dignity health (even in the emergency room) gave me the same impression except for Dr. Martens Medical Assistant Marlene and office manager Carolina. Both Marlene and Carolina were rude, interrupted me every chance they had and were extremely dismissive with every concern I had. I was told by Marlene that she would be filling out paperwork that was required for me on Tuesday. When I called Tuesday she told me very rudely that she would get to it when she gets to it. I was calm and asked her if I could speak to a manager and this conversation consisted of Carolina telling me that Marlene had other job duties and would get to the paperwork Wednesday. I found out that the paperwork was the incorrect paperwork anyway, so I had the correct paperwork faxed over. When I called Wednesday asking if Marlene got the paperwork, she said she did not and dismissed me telling her that this paperwork was had to be turned in timely and again told me shed get to it when she could. So, again I was patient and waited another 24 hours. I was called today (Thursday May 18th) and was told that the Doctors office still hadnt returned any paperwork. So I called and was told that Marlene was at a different office and they would ask her about the paperwork. I asked to speak with the office manager again and let her know that it was a little frustrating how Ive been treated by her and Marlene and she again, dismissed, interrupted and rudely expressed that I wasnt the only patient they had to fill things out for. While I understand I am not the only patient, I believe if you tell someone youre going to get to something done on a certain date, it should be done when promised. I also believe that treating patients rudely and interrupting every sentence they try to get out is unprofessional and demeaning. For this reason I will refuse to be seen by an MA whos dismissive and an office manager who makes excuses for rude employees and is rude herself.

I had to wait two hours for a simple shot. She saw me for a total of 5 minutes. She took other patients in front of me. This is the second time that I have had to wait multiple hours for a simple shot. She does not apologize and she knows she constantly runs late. I will never use her again. She does not respect my time.

Dr. Martens is amazing. She takes her time with patients and doesn't rush in and out of the door. During the exam, she actually listens to you. I didn't think doctor like her still existed!
