Had a great session today with Ricardo. He came to our house to work 1:1 with our dog Baxter, a recent rescue with house guarding issues (including biting). Had an amazing session with Ricardo and saw results! Lots of training for us - he is gifted at seeing what the dog needs, and in training the people in how to communicate with the dog. Greatly appreciate the session!

Ricardo has been amazing working with our dogs behavioral issues. we have 4 dogs, all of them with different concerns. Ricardo's work with our foster pup Thompson (staffy) has been incredible. Thompson was a very scared dog who wouldn't let us put a leash or collar on him and reacted aggressively towards my husband and male roommate. Now Thompson is a straight up wiggle butt, who loves walks, pets, playing, going to daycare/boarding, going to the park or into pet stores, Thompson even lets kids and strangers pet him when he is outside.
Ricardo also gave confidence to my husband to work with Thompson even after he was bitten by Thompson a couple of times and now Thompson and my husband do more things together and even get some cuddles in.
I can't recommend Ricardo enough if your dog has any behavioral issues like excessive barking, reactivity to other animals/people or resource guarding. These are all problems among all my dogs and foster pups that Ricardo has helped us in my home :)

What a great experience. My first time using a professional trainer. I couldn't have been luckier. Ricardo is very customer oriented and understands dogs. He had my Shar Pei following commands in minutes. Plus, he taught my wife and I how to continue training on our own. Don't look any further than CharlieBar.

(After 2 wk board & train)
Drax is doing awesome!!!
The house has such a calm about it now. He seems so much more relaxed and confident. The other dogs are calmer around him too. He and my heeler are getting along again, and the heeler (who had e-collar training) is self regulating while watching me work with Drax. Im so thankful for you guys. We just finished a nice long walk and some hold drills out front. Hes walking so well with hardly any corrections and were working on sitting and waiting at intersections before crossing.

We boarded our 2 dogs for the first time for a few days and everything went great. They have opposite temperaments but they handled them well. We also got many updates and pictures from their stay. We'll definitely be using CharlieBar boarding again.
