        Called on a Sat afternoon, around 1pm, with an emergency for our two dogs. No one answered, went to voicemail. Voicemail says they are open 24/7 and Sat and Sun. Great! Figured maybe they screen their calls and would call back shortly so I planning to leave a voicemail. Voicemail was FULL so I could not leave one. Seriously? As emergency vet?! :( RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: The phone did NOT state you were closed, it sated open 24/7 on Saturdays and Sundays. I listened to the entire recording before trying to leave a voicemail. I did not see the posted sign because I was at home and did not try to come in once I couldnt leave the voicemail. There is an option on Google to change your listing to Temporarily Closed. For future closures you may want to consider that option.

        Big shout out to Dr Calhoun and staff for helping our german shepherd in an emergency on Feb 9 2024. Visiting flagstaff from valley when Max had urgent medical with his bladder. We can't thank u enough for taking such great care of Max overnight. We were so worried about him. Your professionalism and compassion for animals is evident. Can't thank u enough.         kind and knowledgeable staff that took the time to let me know what was happening to my dog and get him to be much more comfortable. They even called me to check in on him. I had to drive 2.5-3 hours since our local vet doesnt have capacity for emergency services. My dog, Chayah, ultimately passed away a couple weeks after seeing them due to end stage heart failure. I would bring my cats here if I needed to. Thanks for taking care of my boy!
