The area seemed pretty quiet and well kept. Wasn't there long enough so there's not much to really say

We lived here for 2 years and just recently moved out, and to be honest, I would suggest trying to look elsewhere for apartments. There were several issues with these apartments while we lived here: 1. Pricey Rent: Let's face itliving here cost us an arm and a leg. The rent was sky-high, and honestly, it felt like we weren't getting our money's worth. Flagstaff is expensive in general, but 2,000 for a 2 bed 2 bath on the second story is ridiculous. 2. Management Hiccups: The folks at the office were hit or miss. Policies seemed to change like the weather, and there were always new faces. Trying to get a straight answer or consistent info? Good luck. 3. Hard to Reach: Getting hold of the office was like playing phone tag with no winner. Calls and emails often felt like they disappeared into a black hole. Not cool, especially when we needed something sorted out. 4. Move-Out Muddle: No walk-through before moving out? Seriously? Not cool. And then they took a chunk of our deposit without a clear explanation. Not exactly the smooth exit we hoped for. 5. Deposit Drama: They deducted money for broken blinds, but let's be realthey were flimsy from day one. And pet-related carpet charges in a pet-friendly place? Come on, that's just not right. 6. Slow Maintenance: One maintenance person for the whole place? No wonder it took forever to get things fixed. And those stairs? Slippery when wet and only partially fixed. Not the safest setup. 7. Some Silver Linings: Okay, it's not all gloom. The office folks were usually nice, even if they forgot important stuff. Plus, kudos for not charging extra for those package lockers. Small wins. In a nutshell, The Summit had its ups and downs. Pricey rent, hit-or-miss management, communication glitches, and a messy move-out process made it a bit of a headache. There were some friendly faces and free package perks, but potential renters might want to think twice and weigh the pros and cons.

Cons: There's no moral, ethical, or sound reason to be charging ~$2,000/month for rent. Of course, management could simply deflect and insist that they're trying to compete with the surrounding area, but just because everyone else is doing it (i.e., price gouging), doesn't mean that you should. Additionally, the furnace - in my experience - doesn't keep up with our harsh winters, and the central air is of course non-existent. Meanwhile you're bound to be woken up by loud landscapers/renovators because this property is clearly more interested in creating an appealing exterior than maintaining an appealing interior. I'd also wager that two maintenance staff members aren't nearly enough to maintain the property. Lastly the insulation in these units is really off-kilter: while one half of the unit is hot, the other is cold and vice-versa. Ultimately, however, all of these cons can be easily tolerated by residents, but not at the absurd rate of ~$2,000/month. Pros: There's no "riff-raff" in the area, and the hot tub is enjoyable. It also makes for a lax, slow-paced environment that I think just about anyone would be content living in. I've woken up to landscapers much more than I've woken up to college get-togethers, for example. I'd have afforded the property at least a 3-star review if it weren't for the price gouging, but you guys deserve no more than 2. You know full well that the average Flagstaff income doesn't support such high rent costs and seem to take no issue rendering your tenants stressed or financially unstable. Lastly, put the friggin trash can back by the mailboxes.

Great maintenance, but there are small children screaming all day in a unit on the west side of the complex and they run around the parking lot unaccompanied. Pretty disturbing honestly. Parents must be drunks and/or negligent. The mail system is great and staff keep the place clean and up to date.

Absolutely WONDERFUL! I had a maintenance emergency last weekend and not only did they come to my apartment promptly, but the on call gentleman was named Bear, and he was so kind and helpful. I felt terrible disturbing his weekend and he was NOTHING but kind and understanding. Best service ever (and I used to do property management)
