AMHA Hospice

Hi Mai! I have sent multiple emails in regard to my last 3 paychecks that I still havent received though you havent gotten back to me so I thought I would try to reach you another way. I (nor several of my other colleagues) have been paid since January which is completely unacceptable. I will not hold my breath as I doubt I will ever receive the 6k you owe me in unpaid wages but it would be nice for you to even acknowledge your poor and unethical business practices, maybe even an apology

Wife still has t been paid for the last month of work. Finally stopped working for free and if owner does not pay this week we will file a lawsuit. Told it wont matter since she is a scam artist and gets away with a lot. Wouldnt want this service even for Joe Biden. DO NOT PUT ANYONE UNDER HER CARE!!!!

THE WORST Hospice care. I signed my parents (yes, both of them) up in mid October 2023. By February 9th 2024 we were on our 4th CNA/Shower Aide which never sent backup and very often canceled the same day. In October they told me they were hiring a new Director of Nursing (which means one had already quit or was fired). Then "Joe" was hired and now they have another new Director of nursing, Amanda, who mentioned AMHA only has 10 patients. Since I've pulled my parents, now they have 8 patients which shouldn't be difficult to manage!! Communication is horrible. No one ever answers the phone. I am appalled to know businesses like this can even stay open. My next step is to call Medicare to find out exactly what they charged for all of this. I feel like some fraud may be going on here. Mai Shannon, the owner, and Theresa the so called HR person should be ashamed of themselves. So many things I found out with the new hospice care that AMHA didn't do or said they couldn't do. For example, provide showers more often, light housework, OTC meds and even medical equipment such as a seated walker. AMHA said they only provide the cheap aluminum walkers. The RN, Lori, was good, but she only came once a week. The current hospice RN is coming 2x per week. Really makes me wonder what they are telling Medicare they've done vs what they actually did. STAY AWAY!!!
