Should've checked the reviews. Saw Dr. Kalfus about recurring GI pains, and was prescribed general symptom reducing medication and a test to see if I had bacterial overgrowth in my small intestine. Infection confirmed at the time of a follow-up two weeks later, and I have an antibiotic prescribed for it over telehealth, and a refill on the backburner in case I felt I needed it. Fine and dandy. Come some time later, I realize I don't actually have any information on what my infection means for me, and call back to request the notes for our visit - I hadn't received anything. First told they'll be escalated over to someone who can, and then informed I may see it day of, if not the following day and to call if it didn't happen. Finally got a chance to check over the notes, and there is nothing about my test. There's no information about it at all! No notes, what I need to know, any education, nothing. The doctor was apparently content to leave me with minimal information about my infection and to just take medication to get through it. Medication that conflicts with my pulmonary medicines, which I know I shared with him. Perhaps it's on me for not asking, but I think it should be common sense to inform your patients about the conditions they have. I also asked the doctor if there would be any further follow-ups: Only if I needed to have one. If you're thinking about coming here please seek out a different GI.

I was told after paying a co-pay for my initial consult that current staffing upheavals preclude scheduling ANY diagnostic procedures in the foreseeable future, and that I may ultimately need a referral to a different GI provider altogether. So, what did I just pay for??! The office should have phoned me with this information before I paid for a costly, worthless appointment. Do NOT waste your time or money on this disorganized, unprofessional outfit.

I truly wish there was a 0 for a rating. Absolutely the most unprofessional medical office Ive ever been to. Amber Senator called me and left a message she had my test results after enduring extreme sickness and many many test and I called her back 7 times during the duration of the day. The office front desk to assured me she would get back to me before end of day. When I still hadnt heard back by 4:45 I drove to the office to speak to her in person and get my results only to find the office closed and the door locked even tho the sign on the door stated they were open until 5pm.I called the main number and was hung up in by the receptionist who I was talking to. Unprofessional , rude, and completely menacing. This is how they treat a patient who has had ongoing issues for over a year!!! Run! Find ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
