Bought a home from Richmond American and I would never do it again. Things in the home were not completed and cant get anyone to come fix or even respond to a request. Part of our contract was to get 2 ceiling fans and 2 garage door openers we have yet to see those and we have lived here for 6 months. Poor communication all around. Dont buy from Richmond!!! Service: Prefabricated home building

I have been dealing with Richmond since November 2022 when I mistakenly decided to buy a quick move in house, my initial closing date was end of Dec2022 and has been delayed twice, im about to be homeless given that my current rental contract is finishing and Im still waiting for my new house with high uncertainty about real new closing date. Purchased a Richmond American Home back in 2022. At first, Superintendent was very eager to assist with any issues we ran across. Prior to completing a survey on him and the builder, he seemed very helpful.
Upon dealing with him, the representative who over sees this Casa Grande area, we have had NO response in any follow through.
Move in May 1st, 2022:
-waiting on builder to install ac/heat duct in fourth bedroom (bedroom is not climate controlled)
-waiting for builder to complete painting rear wall
-NO 6 or 10 month walk through/follow up
I've been treated with more respect buying a used car than I have purchasing a close to $400k property.
-sent two separate requests to warranty back in November and December 2022
-sent email to corporate representative explaining concerns, still no reply (about one month ago)
-submitted warranty claim to corporate office explaining concerns as well
I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing from a builder OTHER than Richmond American homes.
Regretting our purchase and house buying experience.
