        After finding a house that was listed from this agency, I contacted the listing agent and talked about that specific house. Since I was just asking about it and not really looking to buy, I made the agent aware of that and was told she would meet me at noon the next day for a full offer with preapproval. Long story short, I went through the preapproval process for this house specifically after being encouraged to do just that and ended up going through the ringer the next day in an attempt to get me in a bidding war with myself and was told flat out that if I was to offer full price even from the beginning that she would never have even considered accepting that. What a waste of time and a ding on my credit report for nothing.
