I have known Jason for many years during our time in the military. He has always been the upstanding and exemplary individual that you would hope to have as a leader. Jason came back to Alaska after retirement and chose a path the help members of the community just like he did while in Active duty. His path is know as a realtor. Trish and I bought our first home just recently and had zero experience or know how. Jason, teamed with Jeremy Burke, led the charge to bridge the gap of our inexperience. Many May push this off but what stands out is the leadership qualities and his humbleness approach of the job. Jason truly is an asset of the team and rises to any occasion. The best experience buying a house I could ask for. Jason made buying my house easy and with everything being slow due to covid, he still had everything done as quick as possible. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy a house or property

This was the first time I worked with Jason Elrod. I worked with only Jeremy Burke before on my first purchase home In Alaska and Jeremy told me that Jason was another great relator to work with. Right after I told Jason I was wanting to get a second house, he was ready to give me listings based of what my price, location, and size of the home. Jason got me book the very next day to go look at some places. He didnt waste anytime. We found a house I really liked but it was a FSBO. The seller didnt want to pay relator fees and I wasnt going to risk going into such a massive purchase without having help and expertise. Didnt want to take any chances or risk it during this big of purchase. Its a lot of money. Then when I made the choice of moving on. He provide me more houses to go look and even provided showings within a few days. He even would drive all the way on south side Anchorage from the valley. The next home was the perfect price, perfect location, and perfect size. But the sellers wouldnt get their roof or foundation inspected by a professional. It wasnt even a as-is sell. I was willing to pay for the inspection of those two items and still no. Which after getting good advice from him. It scared him on why the seller was so against having that inspected and repaired. We made the call on ending the contract due to the sellers not having the roof and foundation inspected. Finally third time was the charm and they were with me the hole way. This home was a little over what I wanted to pay but it was in A great location and real good size. Overall a really good solid home. They advised me the whole time during the contract amazingly and timely too. This house didnt go back and forth having issues with the sellers. He would do research on the property to help give me a good idea on what to offer and agree on. The best part was that everyone that was part of my closing jumped through hoops to get my closing to happen sooner so I can move in early enough before thanksgiving break when I get my kids for the whole weekend holiday. Thank you. I know who Im going to again if or when I want to buy a third house. Veterans Of The Valley!!!

Made buying our first house such a breeze! We were new to home buying and was not fully aware on what to expect. Jason was professional and personal and helped us every step of the way. His guidance and support all the way up through closing was truly invaluable and we could not have found our home without him!
