The Childrens Hospital at Providence Lactation Clinic

I just delivered my baby April 3rd. I originally went in for hopes of a v-back delivery but unfortunately that was unsuccessful. The staff here have been completely amazing from labor and delivery to mother baby unit. Every single person that has helped me has been kind, reassuring, and supportive. I would like to especially thank a nurse there by the name of Amber. She has helped me tremendously with my milk supply and because of her I have been able to successfully pump for my baby. She definitely helped me when I was feeling discouraged about it Thank you so much to the Providence team! You are all amazing!

My labor and delivery experience was phenomenal. The entire collection of nurses, doctors, etc who helped us during labor, delivery and post partum were incredible. Thank you to the care providers here, it meant the world to be in such wonderful, competent hands.

Worst experience at this place. There was so much misinformation. Misunderstandings. Nursing coming in and setting an alarm off my first night with my son. Bugs found in the room and having to be moved over to a new room. I pray that no one ever has to deliverer a baby here again. 7 years later and my sons medical charts are STILL wrong. How can a legal hospital have INCORRECT information on my sons chart. This could effect the way he is treated medically DO NOT GO HERE

Just delivered my third baby. We originally planned a homebirth but that shifted to a hospital birth when I found out my heart condition had worsened. I needed some more intensive monitoring and was induced to ensure everyone who needed to be standing by was. Everything went smoothly, I felt respected, heard, seen, everyone explained everything and I had a lot of autonomy even in a situation where I needed so much extra monitoring. It was basically opposite of the experience I had planned but the staff at Providence made this a really wonderful experience. I felt safe and looked after which relieved my anxiety a lot. Baby and I are just fine and I'm thankful for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Providence for anyone who needs to/wants to birth in the hospital.
