Mel is an amazing stylist. Professional and did exactly as I explained. BUT- the receptionist and owners of this salon need to understand that I AM NOT GOING TO PAY $50 FOR A CANCELLATION FEE. Especially when it is a 2 days notice. I tested positive for Covid and was sick as hell, called with in a 48 hr notice. I said I would call and reschedule but after being told that I had to pay this joke of a fee for a well within a 48 hour cancellation period because I have Covid - I WILL NOT BE BACK. Mind you I was informed of this when I tried to make a new appointment not when I canceled. I found another stylist who will work with me and not be ridiculous about whatever kind of rule this is. Im not paying a cancellation fee for canceling well with 72 hours notice.

I had an appt with Alison Sumners and she was great! She talks to you, listens, suggests and works with you. I love my new style and am repeating with her for sure.

I see MEL at Maven, and I'm so thankful I found her. I have sat in her chair for a cut & style, as well as full highlights. She's a master of her craft. I've given pretty vague visions during my consults, but she still just -gets- it and nails it everytime! My hair feels (and looks) so good & healthy thanks to her. Not to mention, she has a very sweet personality. Thank you, Mel! P.S. The salon is bright, spacious, clean, and GORGEOUS. Leslie at the front desk is also very kind and helpful!
