Crave Hair Studio

I moved to Birmingham in May 2023 and found a salon close to home. Unfortunately, that salon was extremely expensive and not giving me what I wanted. So I researched salons in Birmingham more closely and found Crave Hair Studio. My search included a color artist as well as a keratin professional, both of which Crave Hair Studio offers. I first requested a consultation as my color from the other salon just wasnt what I had requested (multiple times). John assured me that he could correct to what I was looking for and he definitely delivered! I am soooo pleased with not only the color but the haircut. Love it! I also just had my keratin treatment done here last weekend. Also an A+ job from John! The team at Crave Hair Studio truly work hard to create what you are wanting to achieve. Definitely going back!

I chose this place because they had so many 5 star reviews. Obviously people have had wonderful experiences here. I personally did not. There's a long story, but honestly the picture speak for itself. This is the after of my going back to have the owner fix the original style. I went in confident he would make things better. After he said he was done and I watched him chop off a huge chunk in the front I told him it was great, thanked him, then left. Yes, I lied. I just wanted out of there before he tried to "fix" the good side. Unfortunately this isn't my first rodeo with a bad haircut, so here come the hair clips. I do want to note that I pulled back most of my hair so you could see the difference between the two sides more. I also want to note they were very nice there. The salon itself is beautiful. They have these awesome head rests at the hair washing station which is great for people with neck issues. The woman that worked originally on my hair did seem really inexperienced. Her cuts should not be $60. That implies she's at the same experience level as the owner. She's more an apprentice.

John has been my stylist for years. I always look forward to our appointments. I have had the most compliments on my hair since he has been cutting it and I always leave the salon looking and feeling better than when I arrived. Hes the best and I love his new space!
