I never leave reviews, but this was not a good experience at all! I have stayed at many Tru hotels and have always had great experience, until now. This was one of the dirtiest places I have stayed. The bathroom had mold all in the shower. So much old dust in the corners of the room I could not believe it. There were fingernail clippings around the mattress on the platform of the bed. My family have always stayed at Hilton hotels and usually have a great experience. Just did not want anyone else to pay what we did and get this terrible experience.

Let me start with the good: beds, friendly staff, location off the interstate
Now for the bad: The hotel has a clean appearance with the decor and modern appeal, however, this specific location is pretty dirty under the surface. First, there was a stain on the top sheet, no big deal. Then, discovered a toothpaste stain on a wash cloth, again no big deal, ill just use another one. Then, i noticed the wall next to the toilet was grimmy and dirty, and while I was in the shower, the shampoo fell off the wall and the amount of grime and filth that was revealed was disgusting. The final straw that made me write this review: we went to use the restrooms located off the lobby and the first toilet had poop all over the seat and the second bathroom toilet was full of poop and TP everywhere. So so gross.
I should also mention that there wasn't a blackout curtain so it was pretty bright in our room all night.
We are HH members and I've never been more disappointed in this brand.

Update: They reached out to me, and when I contacted them, as they asked me to, no one ever responded.
I wasn't going to leave a review, but the manager has ignored my attempts to reach out. First, let me say that we have stayed at Hilton's all over, including the Tru line, and we are Hilton Honors members. This is our first stay at this location. We decided to stay because we had a great experience with the Tru location in Mobile, AL (excellent mattresses). The main issue was that there was only a see-through screen on the window, and it was so bright outside it looked like daylight. I called the front desk, and they had me come down to get a duvet cover to put over it, which helped a bit, but it was still bright. Also, the springs in the bed were so bad, nothing like the beds at the other location. I hardly slept at all. It was a rough night. To pay almost $200 and not be able to sleep is ridiculous. I told the young lady at checkout, and she went to tell the manager. I got the manager's card to call while on the road. I called 5 minutes after getting on the road and was told by that same person that the manager wasn't there. She said the manager would be in later. So, I called later, and a man said she wasn't in today to call the next day. I left a message on the manager's cell number, but she has not called me back. I'm very disappointed with how this has been handled by Hilton.
