Older hotel but clean and updated rooms. Bed was also comfortable

The location itself is better than the rest of Montgomery, but that bar isn't hard to reach. The rooms are standard, nothing extraordinary. I wasn't even going to do a review for this place. UNTIL the check-in experience. When rude employees decide to show their ugly heads, by God you know a review is needed. Avoid this place like the plague, I booked a reservation online for my wife's trip to see her family and we normally use this location for stays because it is in a less violent part of town, so the staffing choice was unexpected when she was told that an ADDITIONAL cost was required before she would get her ALREADY PAID FOR room. Let me reiterate that part. I paid all taxes and additional fees on their website and the desk told her to pay an additional fee on top of the reservation, with no explanation. I can't refund it because it's the day of and he refuses to give her the room until she magics the money out of no where.

Still in the process of completing. Very limited breakfast items. 50 deposit required. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Would highly recommend
