Holiday Inn Montgomery Airport South, an IHG Hotel

Unfriendly staff upon checking. The lady was on her personal phone rushing thru checkin. Didnt explain the incidentals charge or even tell us where the room was located or how to get to it. We ate dinner in house at the restaurant and there were 2 servers and only 4 tables seated with some folks at the bar. It took 40 minutes to be waited on by a very unfriendly waitress. Took even longer to get our food. One order was wrong and the waitress wanted to argue about what we ordered. The indoor heated pool is why we chose this location and the pool was freezing on the first night and closed on the second night. The first night our room had no towels and the front desk asked me to come get them - I had children in the shower but I went down anyway to find two staff leisurely sitting behind the counter and one on their cell phone. Super frustrating to spend $200 a night for unfriendly staff. The views out of the windows are just of the roof top also. There was broken glass in the parking lot and around the hotel entry. Would not stay here again.

4 vehicles including ours were broken into. And items were stolen. The staff said their security system wasnt able to catch the break ins. (We were parked in front of a camera) Pour quality service team. Our room was disgusting. Stay away from this hotel!! Safety: Security cameras do not work and they will claim to not take responsibility for vandalism on their property.

Not a nice place. Outdated smells of mold and they try to mask it with Clorox that just gives you a massive headache once you wake up. also everyone who works there is rude.

In January 2024, we were coming to Hope Hull for a funeral. We booked our room online, (2 King Suite) 2 days in advance, called and spoke to the Manager, to confirm our booking along with informing the Manager that we will be arriving late. Per the the Manager, everything is ok. We received 2 calls from the Manager, while traveling, informing us that we booked a Handicapped Accessible Room. I informed the Manager that I booked a 2 King Suite Room. Upon arrival, the Manager was unavailable. We spoke to the Front Desk Attendant who informed us that there were no rooms available. According to our online booking, IHG APP, we booked 2 King Suite Room. Even after showing our online booking details, the attendant was unable to explain, the no rooms available. What she did show us was a detailed receipt of a Handicap Accessible Room booked with our CREDIT CARD information attached. That was disturbing! Not only was our credit card information attached to this room, we were then Charged after we were informed that they didnt have any rooms available. We contacted our credit card company and filed a Fraudulent claim. This was the worst experience weve ever had! They are liars and thieves! We came to Hope Hull for a funeral, not a vacation! Hotel is under renovation. I had no hot water. Hotel in general did not seem as clean as it should be, especially in the hallways.
