Trustmark

Applied for a mortgage with my spouse on Tuesday. Emailed asking for an update on Wednesday. On Thursday, reached out to the selling realtor to state that we were still waiting on a call back from the loan officer to see if we qualified for a mortgage to place an offer. Realtor said we were denied for the mortgage and that the officer should have contacted us already. We called the local office's mortgage supervisor and left a message this morning, and still have not heard back from the lender. While not illegal to tell the realtor, we never gave permission and the lender did not know if that was our realtor (it wasn't, it was just the seller's), we only stated that we had been recommended to try the bank by the realtor. And we still have yet received a phone call from Trustmark to tell us anything personally about the mortgage details. Unimpressed with the policies allowed by Trustmark, and would like to know if this is a common practice for their lenders.

My wife and I have been banking with Trustmark Bank for more than a decade and have experienced only the best in financial services.
