Beautiful iconic Mentone house right on Alabama brow-- the back of property facing West for gorgeous sunsets! There are 2 wings in this home, each with its own bedroom, full bath, and living room (den). The two wings at opposite ends of house are connected by kitchen and original old cottage entry room with lots of lovely stonework. You can control temperature with separate mini-split units in each wing. Bedding is so nice and comfortable! Owners are easily acessible and not intrusive. There are plenty of towels, and even a washer and dryer. Decor is tasteful and interesting. My other favorite things about this place are the huge screened porch, and the excellent location. We walked to adjacent Alabama Brow Park every day with our dog, and often strolled into "downtown" Mentone. We had a wonderful 9 days on the mountain staying here! Highly recommend Stoneridge Cottage.
