There are too many favorites. Most of the Nurse have favoritism. Kim Drake, doesnt care for the residents, and has no patience with them or the family. You have a few workers who care and are very kind hearted. This place needs a new administration. Gale, is a joke for a DON.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. My grandmother was admitted here from Huntsville Hospital for rehab. She was here for roughly a month and had zero progression in her therapy. It was apparent to the therapist providing out patient services that my grandmother received minimal, if any, therapy services. It is very rare that anyone answers the phone when you call. Additionally, the patients are rarely bathed and the overall smell of the facility makes that apparent when you enter the door.

This place is awful!! My dad only lasted a night here before begging me to pick him up. They talked to to him like he was a child and barely fed him. He never saw a physical therapist and also never recieved his medication. The place reeked of urine and the nurses were often walking around with their masks pulled down despite there being covid cases in the facility. I felt awful letting him stay for even one night. Update: it looks like they are boosting their rating by having people who claim to work there leave 5 star reviews. Employees should not be allowed to review and brag about how much they love to work there. The important thing people need to know is the level of resident care.

Brookshire's got the same issues that you'll find in any other for-profit facility like worker shortages and overcrowding, but I would recommend them for short-term stays. My father has advanced dementia, and he was treated with respect, was well fed and cleaned.
