I had a very disappointing experience trying to obtain a quote for homeowners and auto insurance. I entered after a Facebook ad for a contest for 2 free hotel nights and sent my exact current insurance policies over. I was quickly led into a scare tactic that my homeowners insurance was not the type that I should have and that I needed a higher priced type.
A call was scheduled to go over the quote and on that call was basically bullied by the sales rep that my policy (written by a major insurance carrier) was not right. No quote for a policy was ever provided- was basically laughed at and asked and your mortgage company is OK with this policy.
I have further verified with my insurance company and underwriters at the company I am with that my policy is indeed great coverage (i actually have more then I need for basic coverage for personal peace) and there is nothing wrong with it.
If you are looking for a company who wants to bully you and place fear in you to buy higher priced policies and the. Flat out be refused for an apples to apples quote look no further then Allstate agent Lauren Battle.
