Thrifty Car Rental - Huntsville International Airport

Trying to get miscellaneous charges explained is a a nightmare. Had to message FB to get a receipt and received a copy that had other additional charges and 3 misc adjustments. No one could explain what there were. Went to my local counter and they could not help because it was a different system. Company is a joke.

Had a reservation but when I went to the counter to get my car - they said they didnt have any cars available. There was a waitlist with multiple people ahead of me and they couldnt tell me when they might have a car. I asked them to cancel the reservation and took an Uber. I called into customer service later and they didnt have any record of the cancellation. They canceled it for me - will never rent from Thrifty.

Won't answer the phone, no one there to collect the car and can't get a receipt for expense reports. Pick someone else.

Would not accept a major credit card. No appeal, just handed it back to me and said they did not accept the card. Another car rental place accepted it without question.

Charged $148.48 on a $97 rental. Returned on full but charged for fuel. Won't answer the phone, called corporate they get no answer either but say they cant fix it as its a franchise even though they fall under corporate licensing. Had to call credit card company to dispute just bad business. rental agreement #y99383071 Aug 30 th to Aug 31
