Timberline Glamping at Lake Guntersville

We had the best experience with the Timberline Glamping tents at Lake Guntersville!! We have camped there regularly for the past 30 years but this was our first time staying in a Glamping tentwow!! The beds were so comfy & we loved the extra space. Having a mini fridge & coffee maker made camp life much easier. Our kids loved the hammocks & the bunk beds. The decor was adorable (although we did stick some under the bed to make use of the space). The coat rack, benches, and chairs were a nice addition. It rained during our first night & it was great not having to worry about leaks!! The large porch was perfect for sitting during the rain. We are looking forward to booking again in the near future!

It was a surprise last minute trip. The girls and I had a great time. The state park is a great place to camp and Timberline made it an extraordinary trip! Spacious, clean, and the extras touches made it feel like home away from home. The box for kids was a huge hit and I enjoyed the adventure with my granddaughter looking for all the things. Planning a couple more trips with family and friends!

We had a great time!! Hammocks are provided inside the tent. You can pull your car right up to the tent and park there. We chose to unload and park in the nearby lot so we could enjoy the view without the car there. There are a couple bath houses nearby. We brought our own kcups and mugs for coffee and hot chocolate. The chairs on the deck are nice but it was a windy day and one kept flying off the deck. It had to be weighed down. Bring ear plugs because if it is windy, you'll hear it whipping against the tent all night. But I can only imagine what a normal tent would have been like. The park was pretty with blooming red buds, a cherry tree, and a couple dogwoods. If you forget anything, there's a store right there. There's a charcoal grill and a firepit so you can pick your cooking method. Our neighbors brought a crockpot which was smart. My mom booked an RV spot while we were there and she loved it too. You won't regret booking. We made some fun memories overall!
